How to request deletion

- Include the email address associated with your Yedidim Dispatch account and say you are requesting account deletion.
- The Yedidim Dispatch team will verify your request if needed and review the account and related records.
- After processing your request, the team will let you know what was deleted and whether any records must be retained.

What information is deleted?
Once a verified request is approved and processed, account-related personal information is removed from active systems to the extent reasonably possible. Depending on the account, this can include your user profile, email address, phone number, volunteer unit identifier, role assignments and account access credentials or identifiers managed by the service.
Other personal information associated with the account, such as messages or uploaded content, will be reviewed for deletion or de-identification where feasible and not subject to a valid retention need. Deleting an account also means losing access to Yedidim Dispatch through that account.
What might be retained, and for how long?
Some dispatch or incident records, assistance request details, relevant communications, security logs and records needed for safety, accountability, dispute handling or legal obligations may need to be retained after an account is closed. Where practical, identifying details will be minimized or removed.
There is no single fixed additional retention period for all records: any retained information is kept only while the relevant operational, safety, security or legal need continues, then deleted or de-identified as appropriate. The team can explain what specific categories were retained when responding to a verified request.
Requests to delete individual data
You may also use the same contact email to ask about correction or deletion of specific personal information without requesting full account deletion. The team will review whether it can be removed while preserving necessary assistance and security records.
